- Ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- Breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Burger buns
- Onions, thinly sliced (for caramelizing)
- Sliced cheddar cheese
- Lettuce
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
- Parsley, plus extra for topping
- Red chili flakes
- Paprika
- Oregano
- Minced garlic or garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, for the sauce
Instructions
Thinly slice the onions and cook them until caramelized.
Season the beef with salt and pepper, add the breadcrumbs and egg, then form into patties. Cook the burgers to your preferred doneness.
Add the sliced cheddar to the burgers and let it get nice and melty.
In another pan, add the heavy cream and Parmesan and stir until smooth and creamy. Season to taste with the parsley, red chili flakes, paprika, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper.
Assemble the burgers on buns, toasting them first if you prefer, with lettuce and caramelized onions.
Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and parsley if you like, then dip and dig in!
