  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Pizza

Prep 15 minutes · Total 30 minutes · Serves 4–6

  • 1 premade Italian dough or pizza crust
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 2 cups cooked chuck roast, shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Pickled or fresh jalapeños, to taste
  • Garlic-Parmesan sauce, for the base

Instructions

Chuck Roast

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Brown the chuck roast on all sides in the oil, then place it in a roasting pan.

  2. Whisk the flour into the skillet drippings and cook for 1–2 minutes. Slowly whisk in the milk, water, bouillon, thyme and pepper. Cook until slightly thickened.

  3. Add the carrots, onions and potatoes around the roast. Pour the gravy over everything, cover tightly with foil and bake for 3 hours, or until the roast pulls apart easily. If needed, cook another 30 minutes.

Easy Garlic-Parmesan Sauce

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Slowly whisk in the heavy whipping cream.

  2. Add the Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Simmer until creamy and slightly thickened.

  3. Finish with a drizzle of lemon juice.

Pizza

  1. Stretch out your pizza dough and spread on the garlic-Parmesan sauce. Add the mozzarella, shredded chuck roast, peppers, onions, mushrooms and jalapeños.

  2. Bake at 475°F for about 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
